Sunrise

Inspired by photographing the Milky Way during a trip in Botswana, Jonathan imagined what it could be like to see it from behind our Earth, away from the atmospheric light pollution that hinders its true sight. In this painting there is also a sight of the Sun which is hidden behind our small Blue Planet but emerging over the horizon. Hence the tittle “Sunrise”
